Hi! I’m Registered Dietitian Linda Ankner and I created Familythyme Wellness to help busy families stay healthy through nutritious meals, creating family connections, and developing a positive relationship with food. Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits every day so both your body and mind can thrive. Nutrition Coaching
Nutrition should be simple.
Simple nutrition does not require restrictive dieting. At Familythyme Wellness we use the principles of mindful and Intuitive Eating to help our clients stop restrictive dieting and rediscover the joy in food. Intuitive Eating is a non diet approach to cultivating healthy food habits. Intuitive Eating is a researched based, flexible style of eating in which you follow your body’s cues for hunger and fullness to gauge when to eat, what to eat and when to stop eating. Because health is more about healthy behaviors than numbers on a scale, Intuitive Eating teaches ten principles that focus on health instead of weight. Intuitive Eating is a personal process of honoring your health and paying attention to your body’s physical and emotional needs.
I work with women, teens and families to cultivate positive relationships with food so you can get off the diet roller coaster for good and live a life of freedom around all the foods you enjoy.

Creating healthy habits should be fun.
Healthy habits produce healthy people. Staying healthy should also be fun! Cultivating strong family connections has been shown to improve children’s confidence, problem solving abilities and decrease stress. I work with families to create simple, fun and nutritious meals along with engaging activities that enhance the family experiences around food.

Nourishing meals start with proper planning. Meal planning saves you time, money and adds variety to your recipe rotation. I work with individuals and families to create customized meal plans that are not only nutritious but are also realistic for your busy lifestyle.
